How to Start a Private Label Creatine Brand

Build your creatine product through a structured process covering the commercial brief, formulation, packaging, testing and production.

1. Define the product

Choose between a 300 g jar, 300 g pouch, 3 g sachet or bulk supply. Identify whether you want an unflavoured product, a custom flavour or a wider creatine blend.

2. Set the commercial brief

Provide your target customer, price position, expected order quantity, launch market, packaging preferences and benchmark products. This helps prevent a formula or pack format being developed outside your target cost.

3. Develop and review

For custom products, the team develops a draft formula and sampling pathway. The final creatine contribution remains limited to 3 g in the one-day quantity for the relevant Australian pathway.

4. Confirm packaging and testing

Confirm the jar, pouch, sachet film, label, scoop and secondary packaging requirements. Agree on documentation, label review and any testing before production.

5. Manufacture and launch

Once the formula, artwork, packaging, commercial terms and production timing are approved, the project can move into manufacturing.
